You are wasting your time on the internet if you spend more than two hours a day online, according to a new study.

The study, conducted by the American Academy of Pediatrics, found that children who spend more than two hours a day on the internet are more likely to have problems with attention and focus, sleep, and emotional well-being.

The study’s authors say that the findings “support the idea that too much time online can have negative effects on children’s development.”

The study looked at a sample of 4,000 children between the ages of 8 and 11. The children were asked about their internet use, and the researchers also looked at data from surveys about their attention, focus, sleep, and emotional well-being.

The study found that the more time children spend on the internet, the more likely they are to have attention and focus problems. Children who spend more than two hours a day on the internet are also more likely to have sleep problems, and those who spend more than three hours a day are more likely to have emotional well-being problems.

The study’s authors say that the findings suggest that parents should limit their children’s internet use to two hours a day or less.

What do you think? Do you think the internet is bad for children’s development?

  1. I think that this study has a lot of merit. I know that when I spend too much time on the internet, I definitely have problems with focus and attention. It’s hard to stay on one task for more than a few minutes when there are so many distractions online. I also think that the internet can be emotionally draining, because you’re constantly exposed to other people’s lives and opinions.

I think that parents should definitely limit their children’s internet use to two hours a day or less. It’s important for kids to have down time away from screens, so they can play, explore, and just be kids.
