Why I’m Moving to a Small Town

I’m moving to a small town because I want a slower pace of life. I want to be able to walk to the grocery store and the post office. I want to know my neighbors and have them know me. I want to be able to sit on my porch and wave to people as they walk or drive by.

In a small town, everyone knows everyone and there is a strong sense of community. I want to be a part of that. I want to be able to go to the local diner and have the waitress know my order before I even sit down. I want to be able to have a conversation with the person bagging my groceries without feeling like I’m being rushed.

I’m also moving to a small town because I want to be closer to nature. I want to be able to step out my front door and take a deep breath of fresh air. I want to be able to see the stars at night and hear the birds in the morning. I want to be able to go for a hike on a whim and not have to drive for hours to get to the nearest trail.

I’mmoving to a small town because I want a simpler life. I don’t want to have to worry about traffic or noise pollution. I want to be able to go to bed at night and not be kept awake by the sound of sirens. I want to be able to have a backyard garden and know that the food I’m eating is fresh and healthy.

So, that’s why I’m moving to a small town. It may not be for everyone, but it’s definitely for me.
