The world’s smallest house is on sale for $1.5 million in the town of Bigfork, Montana. The house is just 10 feet wide and 10 feet tall, and is being billed as the “smallest, most unique home in the world.”

The house was built in 2015 by artist and builder Tom Brosius, who specializes in building tiny homes. Brosius said he was inspired to build the house after seeing a picture of a small house in Japan.

“I thought, ‘I bet I could build something even smaller,'” Brosius said.

And so he did. The house is just 100 square feet, and is made out of recycled materials, including an old shipping container and a Volkswagen van.

The house has a kitchen, bathroom, living area, and loft bedroom, and is heated and cooled by a mini-split system.

Brosius said he’s selling the house because he’s moving on to other projects, and he thinks it’s time for someone else to enjoy it.

“It’s been a great little house, but it’s time for someone else to love it as much as I do,” Brosius said.

The house is being listed by Montana real estate agent Kristy Fair. Fair said she’s received a lot of interest in the property, and she thinks it will be a great fit for someone who’s looking for a unique home.

“This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own a truly one-of-a-kind property,” Fair said. “It’s perfect for someone who wants to downsize, or for a second home or vacation property.”

So, if you’re in the market for a unique home that comes with a hefty price tag, the world’s smallest house could be the perfect fit for you.
