In May 2017, the world’s first robot law firm opened in Tokyo, Japan. The firm, known as Lawyer bot, is a joint venture between the Japanese law firm Matsusaka Mori and the chatbot company Reply.ai. The firm’s services are currently only available in Japanese, but the company plans to offer them in English and other languages in the future.

The firm’s chatbot, Roid, is based on the artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot developed by the Japanese chatbot company Reply.ai. Roid is designed to help users with legal questions and tasks such as drafting documents, filings, and managing cases. The chatbot can also answer questions about the law and provide information about legal services.

The firm’s services are currently only available to Japanese citizens, but the company plans to expand its services to other countries in the future.
