It’s no secret that getting kids to eat their vegetables can be a challenge. But there is one simple trick that can help.
Encourage kids to try new things by letting them choose their own veggies at the grocery store or farmers market. Let them pick out a new vegetable to try each week.
Make a game out of it and see who can eat the most vegetables at dinner. The winner gets a prize, like an extra dessert or a special sticker.
Serve vegetables as snacks with dip or hummus. Or cut them up into fun shapes with a cookie cutter.
Get your kids involved in cooking by having them help wash, chop or stir the vegetables.
Most importantly, don’t give up! It may take some time, but eventually your kids will come around and start eating their veggies.
