My wife left me for a chicken

It was the chicken’s fault. If only that chicken hadn’t come into our lives, everything would have been different. My wife would still be here with me, and I wouldn’t be sitting here alone, writing this article.

But the chicken came, and everything changed. It all started when my wife bought a chicken from the grocery store. She was so excited to have a pet chicken, and she named it Lucky.

Lucky quickly became my wife’s best friend. She would spend hours talking to Lucky, and she even started sleeping in the same bed with Lucky. I would often find them snuggled up together, and it made me feel like I was the third wheel in my own marriage.

I tried to be understanding, but it was hard. I felt like I was losing my wife to a chicken. I even started to feel jealous of Lucky.

Then, one day, my worst fears came true. My wife came home and told me she was leaving me for Lucky. She said she loved Lucky more than she loved me, and she was going to go live with Lucky.

I was devastated. I couldn’t believe my wife was choosing a chicken over me. I begged her to stay, but she was adamant about leaving.

I tried to reason with her, and I even offered to get a chicken of my own, but she wouldn’t budge. She said she was in love with Lucky, and there was nothing I could do to change her mind.

Eventually, she packed her bags and moved out, taking Lucky with her. I was left alone, feeling heartbroken and betrayed.

It’s been over a year since my wife left me, and I’m still struggling to come to terms with it. I miss her so much, and I can’t help but think about what could have been.

If only she hadn’t fallen in love with that chicken, maybe she would still be here with me. But, alas, she did, and I’m left to pick up the pieces of my broken heart.

  1. This is a really sad story. I feel so sorry for the author. It’s hard to lose somebody you love, especially if they leave you for someone else. In this case, it was even worse because it was a chicken!

I can understand why the author felt jealous of Lucky. It’s hard to compete with somebody (or something) that your partner loves more than you. But ultimately, it’s up to the individual to decide who or what they want to be with.

Although this story ends on a sad note, there is still hope for the future. Maybe one day the author will find someone else who loves them just as much as they love them. And maybe, just maybe, they’ll even find another chicken that they can bond with!
