Isabella’s Weird Web: Why I can’t stop staring at the back of my TV
I’m not quite sure when it started. I think it might have been when we got our new TV. It’s a big, flat screen and it’s mounted on the wall. I can’t help but stare at it, especially when there’s nothing on. I just stare at the back of it, for hours at a time.
It’s not like I’m hypnotized or anything. I’m fully aware of what I’m doing. I just can’t seem to stop myself. I know it’s weird, but I can’t help it. It’s like there’s something about the back of the TV that’s just so fascinating to me.
I’m not sure what it is. Maybe it’s the way the light reflects off of it. Maybe it’s the way the cords are all tangled up. I don’t know. But I just can’t stop staring at it.
It’s not just the back of the TV, either. I find myself staring at other things, too. The backs of computers, the backs of phones, the backs of appliances. Anything with a screen, really.
I know it’s weird, but I can’t help it. I’m not sure what my deal is, but I just can’t seem to stop myself from staring at the backs of things.
