I Tried The Viral SensoryDeprivation Tank And Here’s What Happened


I had always been interested in trying a sensory deprivation tank, also known as an isolation tank. I had read about the potential benefits of floating in complete darkness and silence, and was curious to see if it would live up to the hype.

I finally took the plunge and booked a session at a local float center. When I arrived, I was given a tour of the facility and given some instructions on how to use the tank. Then, I was left to my own devices to get into the tank and get comfortable.

The tank is basically a large, enclosed tub filled with water that has been saturated with Epsom salt. This makes the water dense, so you float without any effort. Once you close the lid of the tank, it is completely dark and silent inside.

At first, I have to admit that I found the experience to be a bit strange. I wasn’t used to the complete darkness and silence, and it took me a few minutes to adjust. But once I got used to it, I actually found it to be quite relaxing.

I floated there for about an hour, and it felt like much longer. Time seemed to stand still inside the tank, and I felt like I was in a completely different world.

When I emerged from the tank, I felt incredibly refreshed and relaxed. It was like I had taken a long nap, and my mind felt clear and rested.

Overall, I was really impressed with the sensory deprivation tank experience. It was everything I had hoped for and more. If you’re looking for a way to relax and unwind, I would highly recommend giving it a try.
