I Tried the ‘Inverted’ Method of Eating and It Was a Disaster

When I first heard about the inverted method of eating, I was intrigued. The idea is that you eat your heaviest meals earlier in the day and lighter meals later on. I thought it made sense – after all, you have more energy to digest a big meal earlier in the day, and it’s better to give your body time to digest food before you go to bed.

So I decided to give it a try. I started by having a huge breakfast, followed by a light lunch and a very small dinner. And at first, it seemed to be working. I had plenty of energy during the day and I wasn’t feeling too hungry at night.

But then, after a few days, things started to go wrong. I began to feel sluggish and tired during the day, and no matter how small my dinner was, I always felt stuffed and bloated before bed. I was also getting terrible headaches and my stomach was constantly upset.

I tried to stick it out, but after a week I knew I had to give up. The inverted method of eating was just not for me. I was relieved to go back to my normal, healthy diet.

If you’re thinking of trying the inverted method of eating, I would say be prepared for some trial and error. It may work for some people, but it’s definitely not for everyone.
