Assuming that by “technology” you mean electronic technology, here are some tips for surviving a day without it:
• Get up early and enjoy the sunrise. Take a walk, read a book, or simply enjoy the peace and quiet.
• Make yourself a healthy breakfast. Start your day off right with some nutritious fuel.
• Get outside and take in some fresh air. Nature can be very grounding and therapeutic.
• If you can, avoid using transportation that requires technology. Walk, ride a bike, or take public transportation.
• Spend time with people you care about. Whether it’s family, friends, or your significant other, quality time is always valuable.
• Do something creative. Draw, write, paint, or build something.
• Stay active and get some exercise. Go for a run, lift weights, or play a sport.
• Make dinner and take your time with it. Savor the flavors and the company.
• At the end of the day, take some time to reflect on what you accomplished. Give yourself a pat on the back for making it through a day without technology.
