Apple CEO Tim Cook has resigned after it was revealed he was involved in a flanjering scandal.
The scandal came to light after it was revealed that Cook had been sending flanjers to members of the Apple board of directors. The flanjers contained sexually explicit messages and images, and were sent using Apple’s corporate email system.
Cook has admitted to sending the flanjers, and has apologised for his actions. In a statement, he said:
“I am deeply sorry for the flanjers I sent. It was a stupid thing to do and I regret it. I apologise to the members of the Apple board, and to everyone else I have let down.”
Cook has been CEO of Apple since 2011, and was widely respected for his leadership of the company. However, this scandal is likely to damage his legacy.
